Colorful menu displays and image processing design make TheraView easy to operate. The fast mouse control allows Oncologists to concentrate on the patient`s treatment procedures rather than data and image acquisition.
Consistently Superior Image Quality
With TheraView`s high-resolution imaging chain, digital, shielded reliable C3D optics with fiber optic digital transmission of image data, virtually noise free images are acquired and displayed in three distinct modes.
Single exposure: a set-up image is acquired and displayed with a radiation exposure of approx. 2mu.
Double exposure: an open field image and a treatment image are acquired in sequence to form and display a composite superimposed image.
Treatment Loop: a sequence of images are recorded and real-time displayed at a rate up to one frame per second throughout the treatment. Post-treatment, acquired images can be replayed as a movie loop to show patient movement and tumor shift.
TargetCheck - Automated Beam Alignment Verification
Continuing the focus on Radiation Therapy`s goal of treatment accuracy and safety, is TargetCheck®, TheraView`s Automated Beam Alignment Verification analysis package. This exclusive image verification and comparison innovation will add an enhanced level of on-line assurance and new confidence to each and every treatment session.
Automatic Field Size & Shape Detection
Using the mouse, an Oncologist or Technologist quickly ``point and clicks`` on the Reference Image, indicating the correct field shape and outline. Once entered, TheraView automatically stores and compares the Reference Image field outline with the selected On-Line Image (either current pre-treatment set-up image or a stored treatment image).The analysis is displayed as a combination of red and green lines: green for approval, red for error detection and denotation.
Automated Field Placement Detection
Again, using the mouse, an Oncologist or Technologist quickly ``point and clicks`` to define the anatomical features on the Reference Image. Once entered, TheraView® stores, proportionally scales the anatomical data and projects the outline over the On-Line Image, ready for placement and analysis. TargetCheck® will display a message bar indicting the final status of the set-up: green for approval, red for error detection.
