ISIPS Newsletter
This newsletter is dedicated to reducing needlestick injuries. Each week we research over 76,000 sources to look for the latest information on sharps injury prevention, needlesticks, HIV, hepatitis, and other infection control issues like West Nile, and SARS. In addition, the ISIPS Newsletter has a number of resource links to assist infection control managers, risk managers, and other healthcare workers.
Today's Health News
The Today's Health News has been designed for those information junkies that just can't wait for the weekly ISIPS Newsletter to come out. It contains the same information provided in the ISIPS Newsletter so you won't miss any information. In addition to the information on needlestick safety it provides a few diversionary activities.
Exposure Control Plan
The OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard requires that institutions with employees that have exposure to human blood or other potentially infectious bodily fluids have an Exposure Control Plan designed to minimize the risk to healthcare workers.
