Canon CXDI-50G Portable DR System

The CXDI-50G is a one-of-kind portable Digital Radiography system designed for diverse applications that include trauma and bedside exams. It has a 14 x 17- inch imaging area and weighs only 10.6 lbs.

With a large imaging area and lightweight design, the CXDI-50G extends the range of exams possible with Digital Radiography. It is large enough for chest and abdominal X-rays. But the compact design also makes it as easy to position as a conventional film cassette or CR imaging plate when performing lateral or axial imaging of limbs and other areas. In addition, it is possible for a patient to easily hold the sensor unit in place during image capture.

The compact design allows the CXDI-50G to be used for a wide range of X-ray room applications. It can also be used at a patient’s bedside. When combined with a mobile X-ray unit, the CXDI-50G brings digital radiography directly to the patient. With a portable sensor designed for patient comfort and quick access to images, the Canon CXDI-50G provides unmatched speed and efficiency for diagnosing even the most critically ill patients.

The CXDI-50G features Canon’s innovative and reliable technology, the Canon Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Sensor. Used in Canon products for over a decade, this innovative technology provides very high quality images without the time and cost involved with film-screen systems. The efficient Canon Control Station stores every captured image and displays preview images on a touch-sensitive LCD Operation Panel. Built-in software provides extensive networking capabilities allowing convenient connections to PACS, RIS or any DICOM printer.

Features of Canon CXDI-50G Portable DR System

  • Portable and Compact: The sensor is less than an inch thick and weighs only 10.6 pounds
  • Large Imaging Area: Up to 14 x 17 inches
  • Immediate Viewing: See images on a preview monitor within a few seconds after x-ray exposure
  • Quick Refreshment Cycle: Sensor plate is ready for next x-ray exposure in 15 seconds
  • High Resolution: 160 x 160 microns pixel pitch, with approximately 6 million pixels and 4,096 gray scale contrast
  • Large Dynamic Range: Sensor plate covers a larger dynamic range than conventional x-ray film: up to 104

Canon CXDI-31 Portable DR System

The latest in Canon’s DR innovations, the CXDI-31 is the world’s first portable DR system. With a compact and lightweight design, the Canon CXDI-31 can be freely positioned, just like conventional screen-film cassettes. It is designed to capture images at angles that are difficult to get with fixed devices and supports lateral and axial imaging of limbs, shoulders, the skull, neck, and extremities. The CXDI-31’s high-resolution makes it perfect for neonatal and pediatric applications.

The CXDI-31 features Canon’s innovative Canon Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Sensor, providing you with the highest quality of images without the time and cost involved with film-screen systems. The efficient Canon Control Station stores every captured image and displays preview images on a touch-sensitive LCD Operation Panel that can be easily mounted on a wall. Built-in software provides extensive networking capabilities allowing you to easily connect to PACS, RIS or any DICOM printer.
