After paying the claim, Atlantic then submits the “clean claims”, medical reports and supporting documentation to the Insurance Carrier allowing rapid error-free adjudication. Atlantic is able to provide this service by utilizing the sophisticated web based claims system, iHCFA.com. Claims personnel with web access are able to view any claim, report or supporting documentation directly at their desktop and print what they are viewing.

Unlike other Diagnostic Radiology PPO’s, Atlantic does not “float” its Providers money, but rather pays its Providers first and then bills the Insurance Company second for payment by the Insurance Company directly to Atlantic.
Atlantic is able to provide this service by utilizing the sophisticated web based claims system, iHCFA.com, a system which notifies Atlantic Providers almost immediately when the claim is missing information required to process and pay it. Atlantic provides Claims personnel with web access the ability to view any claim, report or supporting documentation or status directly at their desktop and print what they are viewing.
Atlantic provides a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine and Bone Scans. Atlantic is a full service management services organization providing Network Access, NCQA Credentialing and Pre-Funded Claims Payment.
How to join Atlantic
We invite you to participate in Atlantic Imaging Group, LLC (Atlantic), a specialty diagnostic radiology network serving the Personal Injury and Workers Compensation industry. Atlantic is the only company in the country that pre-funds its claims within 72-hours of receipt!
Atlantic is expanding its services nationwide. A qualified facility must be licensed in accordance with all applicable state law and all Radiologists must be Board Certified to participate with Atlantic, have a minimum of $1.0 million / $3.0 million malpractice Liability coverage and not have more than $1.0 million dollars in settled malpractice claims over a 5 year period. Providers must execute a Master Facility Agreement with Atlantic in order to participate as an Atlantic Preferred Provider. MedCheck Credentialing Services, LLC has been designated to perform the primary source verification for Atlantic.
Joining our Network requires two steps:
Step 1: The Master Facility Agreement must be signed by the owner or authorized representative. If you elect to have more than one location participate in the network, you may list the names and addresses on the signature pages as long as the Tax ID is the same.
Step 2: A Facility Application must be completed for EACH location even if the Tax ID is the same.
Step 3: Physician Applications must be completed for each Radiologist performing services at your facility(ies).
After Atlantic receives the documents, credentialing will begin immediately. The process will include a site inspection for non ACR accredited facilities. We will expedite the process by the timely return of your information. Please feel free to call with any questions or to check on the status of your application.
Our success is the result of a community-based network of providers working to provide quality diagnostic services within a predetermined payment schedule and quality management controls that provide for appropriate services and monitoring of those services. Atlantic provides the network, single-source credentialing and pre-funded claims payment. We depend on your commitment to quality. In exchange, Atlantic promotes marketing of your facility through a single-signature contract accessing many large insurance carriers. Only professionally competent providers and facilities that meet our qualification standards will be approved to participate in Atlantic.
