We are accessible and quick in implementing teleradiology, MRI reading, digital and diagnostic imaging services.
TELERADIOLOGY
We are happy to work with your current web or teleradiology system if one is already in place. However, if you are looking to implement a teleradiology system and do not have any technical solution in place, we will provide a cost-effective solution for you. We can provide you both the technical solution and the radiologists to perform the readings!
We utilize a secure HIPAA compliant system with encrypted data transmission and web viewing capability. In addition, we offer a redundant back-up system for fail-over protection and large OC-40 (and larger!) pipes that guarantee no traffic jams in image transmission.
Working with Medical Networking Solutions, Inc., our system is robust, simple to set-up, and is managed 24 hours a day by our IT technical staff. Our IT specialists will work with you to set-up the system as quickly and simply as possible. This can be accomplished, depending on your set-up, in hours to mere days.
Our web-based system provides all necessary image viewing tools and also has report function capability. Our system is capable of viewing without image compression, ensuring the highest quality.
There is no need to spend a fortune to install a teleradiology system – save 5-10 times or more with our secure and easy-to-access equipment solutions.
QUALITY ASSURANCE SOLUTIONS
We will provide periodic over-reading of cases in support of your quality assurance program. We can also provide expert sub specialist consultations on difficult cases.
JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) is looking more carefully at how radiology practices and hospitals handle quality assurance – the practice of having two partners review each other`s cases and arriving at 100% agreement is no longer acceptable. JCAHO is interested in real peer review with opportunities for education and improvement.
Templeton Radiology can initiate a monthly or quarterly peer review program where you select and submit a random sample of various exams for a second reading. One of our radiologists or a member of your group can compare the readings from both parties to check for accuracy, agreement or disagreement, and any other indicators that would impact patient care and follow-up.
Review options include community radiologist level review for any significant discrepancies in addition to a sub specialist level review. We will design a program to meet your needs and can review both film and electronic images.
