A SureTouch™ Digital Breast Exam is non-invasive, fast, objective, sensitive, accurate, reproducible, pain and radiation free.
The SureTouch™ tactile sensing technology is able to extract lesion information from raw tactile images by using advanced proprietary image processing algorithms. SureTouch™ is up to four (4) times more sensitive than the human touch and has been clinically proven to map lesions as small as 5mm.
During all clinical trials SureTouch™ has proven to be over 94% accurate in recognising malignant lesions in all breast tissue. Unlike other current older technologies SureTouch™ is not confused by dense tissue therefore making it an ideal method of examination for younger women.
When conducted as part of a woman’s routine check up by her family physician the exam provides an indispensable visual aid for a more caring patient consultation.
Customisable full colour reports can be printed within seconds for both the facility and the examiner. These reports can include patient identification and examiner’s notes. Data can also be transferred to a local PC or a remote server and may be integrated with EMR systems.
In most cases clinical nursing staff are able to be educated by us to a level of competency allowing them to perform the SureTouch™ Digital Breast Exam. For women with dense breast tissue, like those under 40yrs of age, SureTouch™ provides these women with their first real opportunity of a regular pain and radiation free digital breast exam.
