Eizo Nanao Corporation (TSE: 6737) is pleased to announce that its ColorEdge CG211 LCD monitor has been voted as the best monitor by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) in its Photo and Imaging Awards 2007.

TIPA is a non-profit organization comprised of 31 European photo and maging magazines with areadership of approximately eight million people in 12 countries. TIPA editors meet once a year tovote for the best photo and imaging products introduced in Europe in the past 12 months.

The ColorEdge CG211 is a 21.1-inch monitor for color work such as soft proofing and high-end digital photography. It features 12-bit hardware calibration capability and uniform brightness and color across the screen. EIZO’s ColorNavigator calibration software is bundled with the CG211 and can be used with X-Rite (including GretagMacbeth and Monaco) and ColorVision measurement devices to calibrate the monitor in less than five minutes. The CG211 also offers hardware-based support for portrait mode with both Macintosh and Windows PCs.
