All the authors were involved in developing the Research Impact Framework described as well as in writing the paper and approving the final version. Shyama Kuruvilla Nicholas Mays and Gill Walt also applied and tested the framework in a study to analyze the impact of selected research projects at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
