ROTAREX R&D The aim of the Research & Development department is to create new products according to a schedule of conditions defined between our customers and our team of Engineers, Sales people and production people as well as to improve existing products or materials for optimized products.New inventions and trends in the market are developed from benchwork to production, including prototyping, tool manufacturing and production. All necessary regulatory approvals are established jointly by our R&D lab and our regulatory department in cooperation with all national and international approval institutes. All our valves are at least BAM, and UL listed. ROTAREX LABORATORY One of the main divisions of the laboratory is the machining department which specializes in the manufacture of prototypes and samples for customers, technical approvals and testing. The laboratory is equipped with 4 CNC lathes, and 1 milling machine. The testing division conducts tests according to customer specifications, national and international standards or Rotarex own specifications. Some of the main tests carried out are: Hydraulic pressure test, flow coefficient test (water), endurance and tightness test, excessive torque test, rupture torque test, fire exposure test, kick-over test;, impact test, valving test, salt spray test, temperature test...

At that time, the owners offered their services to the local breweries for the supply of CO2 valves for the distribution of beer in Luxembourg's pubs. Along the years and thank to very motivated engineers the company developed several ranges of products for different uses. Today the Group offers a full range of equipment and systems for all gas applications and supplies the electronics industry with complete systems of gas distribution for the fabrication of wafers for example. This is one of the activities of the Group which could not exist without a business-to-business close cooperation between our R&D department and the end users. To fulfill this cooperation and to enable an on-site follow-up of the implementation of our valves, systems or other products we also propose on-the-road trainings and exhibitions directly by our customers and end-users.
