ART – THE ART OF SPINAL SURGERY
With the innovative spine system ART, AMT AG and the developer Prof. Dr. Peer Eysel, open new perspectives to the art of spinal surgery. The special skillfulness of ART consists in the functional perfection and the harmonic matching of all system elements. With ART, the unstressed reposition can be performed according to the tulip screw principal. After repositioning, a simple breaking off can shorten the lengthened thread pitches of the long rod connector. Thereby, the modular head obtains the compact dimensions of the standard rod connector.
For anterior indications, the ART ventral connector is in a class of its own. Due to the thought-out screw placement with a 15° diverging positioning, it combines an extraordinary construction size reduction with a significantly increased stripping force.
The ART Soft-Touch-Cerclage technique decreases the load of the spinal column in case of scoliosis corrections. The broad Cerclage-tissue band is gentle to the spinal structure and is easily secured by the fixation block.
ART- hook system with a broad application spectrum for all indications. For all indications polyaxial top-loading rod connectors are available. To do justice to practice, the long thread pitches facilitate rod fixation, the thread can be shortened by simply snapping off the lengthening.
ART ventral connector for anterior indications (application example: corpectomy). For the ventral connector, the 15° diverging screw positioning makes an extraordinary construction size reduction possible with at the same time high stripping force.
The Soft-Touch- Cerclage technique of the ART system uses the translational forces and avoids high distraction and compression loads of the spinal column, occurring with the rotational procedure.

FAST-FLAP – NEUROSURGICAL MINIPLATES
The extraordinary Fast-Flap-System from the company OsteoMed combines simplicity and safety in an excellent manner. It was especially developed for neurosurgery and impresses by the clear system and uncomplicated handling. The patented Auto-Drive screw made of titanium alloy enables the reliable screw anchoring without drilling. Owing to the unique TaperlockTM fixation, the screws are safely connected to the screwdriver during insertion. Available in 1.6 and 2.0 mm diameter.
LOOP- LUMBAR T-LIF CAGE
The effect of rotation brings motion to the minimally invasive T-LIF technique. Only the LOOP-cage offers a patented cage-axis. With the LOOP hinge, the implantation angle of the cage can de adopted in each phase, from its insertion via the posterior approach up to its lateral final position in the disc space. Compared with conventional PLIF`s, LOOP T-LIF cages avoid the approach through the spinal canal and reduce destabilisation of dorsal structures. As biomechanical comparative tests have shown, they offer a reduction in surgical costs together with a comparable segmental stabilisation. For the support of the sagittal curvature, all LOOP T-LIF cages have a lordotic design.

SHELL – PERFECT SYNTHESIS
The cervical cage Shell perfectly connects design and function. Suitable conical basic form, anatomical shape of upper and inferior side with the characteristically dome, steadfast surface structure and PEEK-OPTIMA® 1 elasticity - closely approximating that of the vertebral endplates - ensures the fast and safe fusion. SHELL has a particularly wide ventral supporting surface, as the large fusion hole was transferred dorsally. By virtue of the slope of their lateral walls, SHELL Cages safely support themselves at the uncovertebral joints. The positioning of the cage hole on the endplate structure which bears the least load also favours the fusion.
WAVE – FUSION IN BEST FORM
With WAVE, everything revolves around the pure design. Before implantation, WAVE is small – so that you can perform the posterior approach as minimal invasively as possible. After implantation, WAVE is large – because of the cage-distraction you can reliably restore the disc height requested. And finally, we optimally adapted the WAVE cages to the vertebral endplates. Their anatomical three-dimensional design guarantees a high primary stability as well as safe fusion. Distractable WAVE-cages reduce OR-trauma and make a safe fusion possible.
