Allan Wilson, MD, PhD. is Professor of Psychiatry and Head, Section of Addiction Medicine, University of Ottawa, and Director, Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders Program, Royal Ottawa Hospital. He has worked as a consultant in the health-care field for both private and public sectors. His research interests lie in clinical pharmacology, biotechnology, and large data systems and he has published extensively in these areas. Dr. Wilson is an internationally known researcher in the field of chemical dependency, and is listed in Canadian Who’s Who. He is the author of over 100 academic publications.
