Pertubation Unit, Insufflation Pressure, Hystero-Purator, Hystero-Insufflator and Hysteroscopy Insufflator

CO2-Hystero-Insufflator Electronic 1142: Digital display for distension of the cavum uteri with carbon dioxide gas is a further development of the Hysteroscopy Insufflator according to Semm. Provides accurate control of insufflation by clearly arranged digital displays for pressure preselection, insufflation pressure, gas flow and insufflated gas quantity.

Hystero-Purator: Including accessories 143 SS Tubing set, sterilisable, or 5-wheel base, with anti-static rollers, two with fixation, flow display, suspension support for 4 bags, storage tray, and container balance for 5 containers.

Universal Pertubation Unit: Safe pressure regulation in the intercontainer, which guarantees pressure regulation for continued or intermittent carbon dioxide gas insufflation starting from 0-300 mmHg, independent from pressure of the CO2 cylinder. It provides:

Cervix Coagulator and Endo-Coagulator

Cervix Coagulator 6001: For aimed and dosed coagulation of benign cervical lesions for endocervical therapy. Coagulation at 60-120°C. 

Therapy Probes: Head and leading tube of stainless steel, autoclaveable at 130°C, probe head teflon-coated, elongated metal grip with precision plug-in connection to instrument cable for large-area erythro- and leucoplakia,  ectopies at dehiscent cervical os, small circular ectopies, endo-cervical therapy, endo-uterine therapy and wounds of conisation.
 
Endo-Coagulator 7500 C with Rapid-Cooler: For controlled, endocorporeal tissue coagulation without danger for the patient. It provides

• Cooling of the instrument by means of physiological NaCl-solution by integrated rinsing channel
• Coagulation time continuously adjustable from 5-120 sec
• Visual and acoustic indication of the heating -coagulation-and cooling-phase 
• Coagulation and blood-free adhesiolysis by direct electronic controlled heating of instrument tip without HF-application.

Hemostasis Probe and Serrated Edged Macro Morcellator

Hemostasis Probe for Cervical Coagulation: The Endo-Coagulator makes possible the direct application of coagulation-warmth in the hollowed cervical cavity by means of a hemostasis probe during C*I*S*H*: Classical Intrafascial S*E*M*M* (Serrated Edged Macro Morcellator) Hysterectomy, TUMA: Total Uterine Mucosa Ablation, and IVH: Intrafascial Vaginal Hysterectomy operation method.

Coagulation Knife, Crocodile Forceps and Point Coagulator

Cervix Adaptor and Cervix Cups

The cervix adaptor is for pertubation, hystero-salpingo-graphy and hydro-pertubation. The cervical canal can be sealed easily and without any pain. The plastic adaptor, three sizes available, adapts itself to any cervical configuration without altering the topography of the interior genitals. The cervix adaptor and cervix cups are disposable. While only the first is for hydro-pertubation, both are used for insemination, drug delivery at the cervix, and sterile individual wrap.

Insufflation Tubings and Disposable Heating Tube

Insufflation tubings are for HI-FLO Therme-Pneu 45, Multi HI-FLO Pneu, with preheating of gas, Flow-Therme. Disposable heating tube, with filter and silicone connection tube with LL adaptor, are used for building up a pneumoperitoneum for diagnostic or operative pelviscopy/laparoscopy, warming up the insufflation gas to body temperature. The postoperative use of analgesics is thus significantly reduced. It is adaptable to every WISAP Therme-Pneu and Flow-Therme, while the sterile disposable heating tube is usable immediately.

To ensure adequate safety and to avoid mistakes upon assembly of our  instruments prior to the operative intervention, all available sheaths are isolated. Veress Needle Modular System

Features of Veress needle modular system include:

Trocars for Thoracoscopy, Dilatation Set: HI-FLO Trocar with silicone valve, sleeve with thread and insufflation port: Elliptic sleeve tip for gentle and atraumatic puncture and perforation via the Z-puncture technique. The design of the sleeve allows easy insufflation when in HI-FLO. Matt sleeve surface prevents light reflections. Secure connection to the trocar body. The PEL/LAP Trainer is an optimum training device for learning the technique of minimal invasive surgery, as in contrast to laparotomic procedures, the art of performing endoscopic operations cannot be acquired by assistance in the operating theatre. Morcellation, Arthroscopy and Suction Irrigation Units

Nowadays, almost every myoma up to a size of 10 cm can be removed from the uterine muscle with the help of pelviscopic surgery. The myoma capsule is opened as usual followed by mobilization of the myoma, preferably by Endo-Coagulation. Pelviscopic myomectomies were previously performed with a hand-activated morcellator developed by SEMM in 1973. This design has considerably been simplified and is now very time-saving to use. S* E* M* M*, or Serrated Edged Macro Morcellators are available in diameters of 10, 15, 20 mm or 24 mm. The sharp edge of the cutting tube simplifies the procedure of cutting out tissue cylinders. The operative pelviscopy ensures a better quality of life through endoscopic surgery. The cutting speed and the correspondent effort are dependent on the sharpness of the scalpel.

Intrathoracal Morcellation, Morcellator and Trocar

Morcellator, or trocar on Manual/Moto/Power-Drive is riskless for intraabdominal, intrathoracal morcellation, even of larger tissues. Tissue cylinders can be removed manually or power-driven from myomas, uteri, and renal tissues, etc., by making circular movements. The sharp-edged cutting tube is of great stability, ideal for numerous applications, and made of high-quality stainless steel.

Calibrated Uterine Resection Tool

Uncomplicated and time-saving cutting out of the Cervix Uterus Cavum Fundus Cylinder with the Calibrated Uterine Resection Tool. Riskless intraabdominal morcellation of large tissues. During C*I*S*H (Classic Intrafascial Serrated Edged Macro Morcellated Hysterectomy), TUMA (Total Uterine Mucosal Ablation ) and IVH: (Intrafascial Vaginal Hysterectomy), the cutting out can be done by motorized rotation of the power-drive in a continuous and precise mode.

Aqua-Purator Biotherm

Aqua-Purator Biotherm is a suction pump unit for operative-therapeutical pelviscopy/laparoscopy, with up to 5 l NaCl-solution coming from plastic bags. Its features include:

• Fully automatic heating up of NaCl-solution to body temperature
• Automatic digital controlled temperature regulation
• Automatic deaeration of the tubing system after activation of the unit
• Contamination-free removal of liquid by connection to any aspiration system in the operating theatre.

Aqua-Therme

Used optics can easily be cleaned of blood and liquid, and simultaneously be warmed up to 40°C (104°F) again, in order to avoid the development of fog at the optics with the Aqua-Therme, a suction pump unit. Accessories include thermometer, thermometer holding and convective plate.

CO2-Aqua-Purator

CO2-Aqua-Purator is for the operative pelviscopy/laparoscopy for rinsing of the abdominal cavity with physiological NaCl-solution. Features include:

• The unit working with CO2-Gas, enables the stepless adjustment of the instillation pressure from 0 to 750 mmHg
• The instillation quantity can be preselected to 1 l/min and HI-FLO 3 l/min depending on the instillation pressure (max. 750 mmHg)
• Large reserve of rinsing liquid by two NaCl bottles
• Contamination-free waste management of liquid by connection to any available suction system in the operating theatre
• Monofil-bivalent rinsing tubes serve alternatively for rinsing in NaCl-solution or for absorption of blood and tissue particles
• When using low pressure, (i.e. a slight irrigation jet) small bleeding vessels can be well diagnosed
• With higher irrigation pressure hydro-surgery can be practised, i.e. to irrigate between the peritoneum and the organs, or to detach adhesions

Pre-Therme

Pre-Therme is for warming sterile physiological NaCl-solution in plastic bags to be instilled by means of the Aqua-Purator Biotherm or similar devices. Features include: operating temperature, overheating display, simple and stable clamp holder, and stainless steel version.

Arthroscopy, Wide Angle Arthroscopes and Lightentry-Adaptor

The trocar size is 5.5 mm. Features include

• Wide angle arthroscopes, autoclaveable, made of stainless steel, with integrated fibre optic light transmission
• Optic light cable with glass rod for high and constant light transmission
• Lightentry-Adaptor, with glass rod,  for use with coldlight cable

Knee distension during arthroscopic interventions is effected on basis of the circular-pump principle, i.e. the hydrodynamic pressure generation. Preselected distension pressure at the pump can never be exceeded for arthroscopy, not even if the knee to be operated is bent by the operating surgeon. Non-use of disposable tubing sets lowers the operational costs for this unique pump to an absolute minimum.

The pre-adjustable pressure range up to 200 mmHg in steps of 10 mmHg fully covers the operator`s needs - from knee distension up to ankle- and wrist-joint arthroscopy. Exchange of fluid bags is very simple.

Arthro-Purator

The Arthro-Purator includes accessories such as tubing set with pump head, steam- and gas-sterilisable, 5-wheel base, with anti-static rollers, wheel breakers and holder. It is the absolutely safest way for avoiding intra-articular pressure peaks.

Arthro Shaver

Arthro Shaver consists of: Shaver Console, Handpiece, Cable for Handpiece and Foot-pedal.

Hi-Flo Therme Pneu 45 7083 V with video display. Features include:

• The user is informed about the insufflation data through the monitor display without being distracted from the operating site.
• The display can be switched off anytime.

HI-FLO: 20 l/min for secondary filling under endoscopic view. Features include

• Measuring of actual pressure at the needle tip acc. to Veress or Goetze-Semm
• Controlled, continuous filling of the abdomen with 1 l/min gas. High safety for the patient, as the max. flow pressure is 30 mmHg and the max. volume is 20 litre CO2 gas
• Automatic compensation of intraabdominal gas loss

Medical Illumination, Cleaning and Video Equipment

The pug (portable video recording) is suited when sequences of still images or video clips need to be captured and stored from a video source in the operating theatre, day case unit or private suites.

Portable Video Recording

Features of the portable video recording include:

• Video clips are captured at full NTSC or PAL resolution and stored in Motion-JPEG format giving in excess of up to 80 minutes of video
• Still images are stored in JPEG format whereby many thousands of images can be stored, limited only by the size of the CompactFlash card
