OEM Preventative Maintenance of CT System and MRI System
SHARED IMAGING QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM Daily Quality Assurance Images to be captured each day according to OEM`s specifications. Quality Assurance data to be captured off of the QA images according to OEM`s protocols. Quality Assurance data to be recorded and stored in a dedicated source book. Quality Assurance data to be available for OEM engineers and Medical Health Physicist viewing. Any variance in the QA data that exceeds OEM recommendation will be reported immediately to OEM Engineers by a service call. Any variance in image quality will be shown to Radiologist. Radiologist will have the final word on whether the CT/MRI system is ``up`` or ``down``. Monthly OEM will do preventative maintenance per OEM preventative maintenance guidelines. Preventative maintenance will be documented and left on the CT/MRI system at the time of service. Any documentation not left on the CT/MRI system will be considered as not being accomplished. Semi-Annually Review Base films will be gathered during first week of initial service. These base films will serve as guideline for all future visits to CT/MRI unit. Client and Radiologist will agree on the Image quality on the base images. Shared Imaging will have internal Applications Specialist review base films semi-annually, or more frequently, if a perceived image quality concern develops. Applications Specialist will pull random films from previous six months and compare to initial base films. Radiologist and Applications Specialist will review films together and discuss the quality of images. If image quality has been reduced from the initial base films, system will be brought back to initial specifications. Radiologist will have the final word on the quality of the system. Other Client will have access to any data that has been acquired for the purpose of documenting the Quality Assurance process. This may include access to the daily QA numbers for the CT/MRI system, preventative maintenance documentation.
