Anaesthetic Gas Scavenging System Plant, are available in simplex or duplex, configurations, and offer floor or wall mounting options, Weather proof enclosures are available as standard allowing the plant to be located outside. Remote control and alarm output are fitted as standard.
AGSS Plant General Description
-
Anaesthetic gas scavenging systems are designed to remove exhaled anaesthetic gas mixtures from operating theatres, anaesthetic rooms and recovery areas. The CMS AGSS Plant is the vacuum source for this active system of removal.
-
The CMS AGSS Plant consists of a Simplex (Duty only) or Duplex (Duty and Standby) side channel exhauster, with a motor directly mounted and close coupled. The exhauster impeller does not come into contact with the pump housing, giving a long product life, and very low maintenance.
-
The unit is driven by either a single or three phase electric motor. Voltage and frequency variants can be accommodated on request.
-
The plant size is determined by the number of terminal units that the plant is servicing.
-
The CMS AGSS Plant consists of the exhauster(s), electrical starter, vacuum regulating valve, exhaust flexible connections and condensation trap which is provided with all interconnecting pipework and wiring. The operating and indicating system, includes the facility to connect remote controllers in each operating department. Alarm relay contacts are fitted as standard on all models.
-
Triplex plants can be provided on request which operate on a Two Pump Duty and One Pump Standby basis. On all plants with two or more pumps, should either Duty pump fail the Standby pump will automatically take over, and signal an alarm. During unexpected periods of higher than normal flow requirements, the standby pump will be called to run, and will operate to assist the Duty pump until the flow requirements return to normal.
-
The plant is provided with a regulating valve installed on the plant, upstream of the exhausters to ensure the system performs safely and efficiently, and within the parameters specified.
-
The CMS AGSS Plant, remote controlling and indicating system utilises 240vac, 110vac, or 24vac switching and indicating system. (240vac is fitted as standard)
High Pressure Manifold Systems
High Pressure Manifold Systems include:-
-
Fully Automatic change over from duty to standby
-
Manual change over from duty to standby
-
Emergency Standby Manifold
All High Pressure connections and line pressure connections are fitted with `O` ring seals, manifold panels are fitted with alarm outputs as standard, automatic type includes Medical Gas Alarm Transmitter, Medical Gas Outlet Point, Lockable Line Valve. Other models include Lockable Line Valve, and Non Return Valve.
