PCI display controller for live X-Ray image processing
This dual-head 2MP imaging board, with its triple video frame buffer, renders live video images without image artifacts. Via the PCI bus, the live X-ray image can be overlaid with graphics (e.g. icons, measuring units, …). The 2MP2HX accepts two real-time independent x-ray live video streams and two independent graphics overlays.
The BarcoMed® 2MP2HX dual-head medical imaging board has been designed to display live angiography and cardiology grayscale X-ray images from high resolution image acquisition devices such as CCD cameras or Flat Panel Detectors.
Two incoming PCI 1K x 1K video streams, with refresh rates up to 30 frames per second, can be simultaneously processed in real time. The built-in triple buffer (one per display head) ensures artefact-free, continuous image display. The BARCOMED® 2MP2HX further supports independent annotation and graphics overlay per head.

MIVD 1218 - Digital Imaging Tool for Cardio Vascular Imaging
18" grayscale LCD display module
The DICOM-compliant MVD 1218 flat panel display offers flexibility and digital scan conversion for modalities. The panel, with a resolution of 1280 x 1024, features built-in functionality to convert the modalities' wide range of analog or digital output signals to the panel's native resolution. Barco's dedicated circuitry offers accurate signal conversion (including scaling, motion-adaptive de-interlacing and tearing-free frame rate converson), a wide range of interfacing options and image fidelity with no visual artifacts.
Flat panel displays are quickly becoming the standard in modalities such as interventional radiology, endoscopy, laparascopy and ultrasound applications. Barco’s MIVD 1218, an 18" grayscale flat panel display module with 1 MegaPixel resolution, offers accurate signal conversion (including deinterlacing and frame rate conversion), a wide range of interfacing options and image fidelity (no visual artifacts). This makes the MIVD 1218 the perfect replacement for end-of-life 1 MegaPixel CRT displays, thereby upgrading your modality with state-of-the-art technology. The MIVD1218 further features LUT correction, which allows setting the display’s transfer curve to standards like DICOM or CRT.

It is designed for computer image scan conversion in a variety of greyscale applications, including ultrasound, cardiology, angiography, C-arm X-ray, surgical microscopy, endoscopy and laparascopy. The MVC 10D converts high-resolution images into PAL or NTSC video for recording, projection or display on a standard monitor. The MVC has been manufactured in accordance with the IEC 601 standard for medical equipment. The MVC 10D is a project related product offering.

Barco’s Medical Video Up Converter is a stand-alone unit that interfaces between a medical imaging application platform and greyscale display. It is designed for computer image scan conversion in a variety of grayscale applications, including ultrasound, cardiology, angiography, C-arm X-ray, surgical microscopy and laparascopy. The MVC 10U doubles the field rate and provides clear, flicker-free images. The unit is compatible with image resolutions up to 1536K pixels/filed, independent of the software platform used. Pirusa - Add PC Functionality to your Modality
The multi-functional, single-slot Pirusa board combines standard imaging functionality with frame grabbing and graphics overlay for use in modality image measurement, image-guided interventions and image archiving.
Pirusa accepts input signals varying from standard analog PAL/NTSC to RGB. The open platform allows for flexible customization and is typically used for PC image overlay in modality applications (e.g. measurement software data overlay or 3D interventional positioning software images). Thanks to Barco's expertise in signal processing, image quality of the combined signal shows no degradation in comparison with the original modality image. Pirusa features a wide range of color and greyscale input/output signals, including coded, non-coded, interlaced and non-interlaced signal formats.Pirusa includes auto setup software, which automatically checks the input video signal. This feature offers fast and easy installation of the board's frame grabbing parameters, even for unknown signal formats. The board further has automatic gain/offset and phase alignment, which ensures 8-bit full resolution sampling of the input signal without aliasing. Pirusa also includes an auto-calibration system that matches input and output signal. Auto-calibration guarantees that input and output image quality and timings are 100% identical.
